At the age of seventeen, Tony joined the RAF in Singapore. He was captured in Java soon after.

ZHANG Quan-You, XIE Lei-Min, and GENG Zhun
All were enslaved in Japanese corporations in the 1940s. Geng led an uprising of slave laborers at Kajima Corporation-Hanaoka Mining on June 30, 1945. Produced by Canadian educator Raymond Lemoine in 2006.

SHI Hui-Zhong
Abducted at the age of 19 in 1944 to work at Mitsubishi Katsuta Coal Mine and a camp in Hokkaido. Recorded in Shanghai by Canadian videographers Ho Tam and Derek Smith in 2008.

Dr. FENG Yi-Ping
Abducted at the age of 14 in 1944 and laboured at Mitsubishi Katsuta Coal Mine in Japan. Recorded in Shanghai by Canadian videographers Ho Tam and Derek Smith in 2008.

ZHANG Quan-You
At the age of thirteen, he was abducted to labour at ports in Japan, unloading raw materials and products looted from China.

Mr. GENG Zhun was the leader of the Hanaoka Uprising when he and other Chinese abducted workers were enslaved and tortured by Kajima during WWII.
